2024 was an eventful year for HighWire, with cherished wins and lessons learned. We are delighted to announce the launch of our end-to-end workflow solution DigiCorePro, that our hosting platform continues to expand its capabilities with a focus on AI, and that our ecommerce platform THINK has successfully moved from the desktop to the web! Our product team is working closely with our research and development team, MPS Labs, to integrate new AI tools. And overall, we are working to make HighWire an innovative and futurefocused technology partner.

DigiCorePro announces three more integrations focused on research integrity, research transparency, and peer review innovation.

We are excited to integrate Clear Skies and DataSeer technologies into HighWire’s DigiCorePro, enabling journal teams to identify issues related to research integrity.

With Reviewer Credits now integrated into DigiCorePro, journals and publishers will have greater choice to use the Reviewer Credits service within their workflows.

Our Focus on Research Integrity

On STM Innovation Day, Joshua Routh, Director of Hosting Solutions at HighWire, presented a proof of concept of our new Research Integrity Check System (RICS). RICS will be available as an API-based service module, which will also been integrated into the DigiCorePro (DCP) submission and peer review tracking system. It performs fully automated and semi-automated checks, which are configurable by the publisher. A key feature of RICS is the identity verification tool intended to highlight problematic authors and reveal possible conflicts among authors, editors, and reviewers.

We are aiming to launch the product this year. Reach out to us if you’d like to know more about RICS.

Conclusion
